Our Christian education program teaches students to view all subjects—from science to literature—through a biblical lens, helping them understand how faith connects to all aspects of life.

Foundations is focused on Kindergarten readiness. Each child will graduate from this class with proficiency in early reading, writing and math skills. Children are also encouraged to develop responsibility and learn the necessary social and self-help skills required at this age. They each have their own “job” daily, that helps keep the room and its activities flowing smoothly. Additionally, core values such as: kindness, honesty, and respect are woven into daily curriculum.

In the Classroom

This 6 3/4 hour class, 3 x per week consist of: Bible, reading, writing, math, language arts, social studies, science and more! All of the wonderful opportunities, activities, skills training, social, emotional competence, and Bible teachings of WisdomWorks Christian Preschool will be carried over into this program with an added emphasis and focus on all Kindergarten standards being met.

Our class size is a small, intimate and very personalized experience for each child, with a qualified teacher, equipped with over 25 years experience in the classroom and teaching through a Biblical lens.

Environment

Our Program is located on the campus of WisdomWorks Christian Preschool. Lessons will be taught in a bright and engaging classroom, separate from the Preschool/Pre-K Classrooms. Our well-equipped playground and yard as well as Bill Beck Park will also be available to our Foundations students to provide for group games and added opportunities for the development of meaningful peer relationships.

What are the Kindergarten class hours?

This class offering is a 6 3/4 hour program, from Tuesday-Thursday from 8:00 am to 2:45 pm. Mondays and Fridays are committed to home school teaching.

What age is accepted for Kindergarten Foundations?

The Foundations program is available for children ages: 5 years old by September 1rst.

What is the Teacher to student ratio?

Kindergarten Foundations tops off at 12 to 1.
